We hope you are staying warm and dry this week. Despite this nasty weather our hens are producing record numbers of delicious farm fresh eggs. They are incredibly large and tasty. We were delighted to learn this Sunday that our neighbor’s young son will only eat “Greg’s eggs”! We may have come upon a new and better branding for our pastured eggs.
‘During this long stretch of cold temperatures we are storing our unwashed eggs in our home. Please text us at 469-951-8210 and let us know you are here or will be coming. It is far more effective to respond to texts than to phone calls. Usually someone is here but if we are not we can arrange a time for pick up or even a delivery.
You, our neighbors and community, are what drives us. We need one another. When we encounter one another at the "stand" or on the party deck, I feel connected, appreciated, and supported. I hope you do. Our stand is based on an honor system. Please take what you need and leave what you can. Our established price of $6 a dozen does not cover the cost of raising hens that produced the quality of eggs you purchase, but we are always happy to share what we have with our neighbors and friends and those among us who have needs. We are blessed.
